ACT I ~1995–2025

Foundation

IBM 486. DOS Shell. GameCube DNS exploits. 15 years of food service while the obsession never stopped. Crypto mining built the GPU farm before I knew what Kubernetes was.

ACT II 2025–2026

Infrastructure

Killed Windows. Went full Linux. 4 hosts, K3s cluster. All hosts now run ReverbOS — an owned Omarchy-based OS that replaced NixOS. AI Inference Gateway, Knowledge Fabric, MCP Registry, Compute Market. Every service self-hosted. Zero cloud spend.

The distro-hopping journey taught me what I value: reproducibility, atomicity, and — above all — ownership. NixOS proved the declarative model; now I'm building ReverbOS on Omarchy so I control every layer instead of renting a package ecosystem.

My Story

Spent 15 years in food service learning the value of hard work, teamwork, and showing up every day. Meanwhile, always curious about computers — 20 years of tinkering, researching, and dabbling with Linux on the side.

Built a 4-host cluster of owned hardware with K3s orchestration, now running ReverbOS on every host — my own Omarchy-based operating system that replaced NixOS, so I control every layer. Developing production apps with Rust microservices, React/Astro frontends, and self-hosted AI.

Current focus: Designing, deploying, and operating self-hosted LLM + agent + infrastructure stacks clients own — AI Systems Orchestration. Government data pipelines, knowledge fabric, MCP tooling, accountability journalism. No hyperscaler dependency, full auditability.
